As one of the only one of the only players to receive all relevant licenses (seed, cultivation, extraction, and export) from the Colombian government, OWP has partnered with the vibrant, indigenous farming community living on the 185 acres surrounding its farmland – providing vast opportunities for expansion and growth.

OWP has an R&D partnership with internationally-accredited doctors and scientists; is forming alliances with local doctors and the Alternative Medicine Association; has national investigation alliances with public universities and a local group of scientists under the umbrella "BIMCASA," with extensive published research in medical cannabis.

The community’s established indigenous cooperative of small farmers is called WalaPopayan, who obtained its granted medical cannabis cultivation license through the sponsorship of OneWorld Pharma, Mama Liliana Pechene is on the Board and is considered a VIP in the associate of tribes and an ambassador for the indigenous people. OWP has obtained considerations by the Colombian Government so that it can amend and extend it’s current licenses to any indigenous farmland within the country, giving it almost unlimited and unrivaled expansion capabilities. This serves as a true economic partnership between OWP and the indigenous tribes.
